Lobster Flyer?

Red's HangarOne vs Yet Another Commercial Kit (YACK)

The Daily Flyer

Let's see what's for sale these days. There seem to be various flavors of the "Spaceship" line of flyers. Could they have made the canopy more aerodynamic??!!

Below is another spaceship that shares the same graphics - minus the hideous canopy and rudder fins. I guess these folks left off the trimmings that made it ugly.

Another Guilty Flyer

www.online-ezshopping.com - is another site infringing upon copyrights and has been sent a cease and desist letter. If you goto the About Us page it has a blurb:

Thank you for visiting our store! We provide reliable, safe online shopping 24 hours 7 days a week throughout the U.S. We are strongly committed to providing our customers with top quality merchandise, reliable shipping and customer satisfaction! You can shop with confidence and all items are shipped and insured by us.

Now isn't that funny - "top quality merchandise" that doesn't really exist!

Fake Flyers

JPR Trading supposedly sells a HydroFlyer, but they illegally used some photos from my own gallery. They even then had the nerve to watermark my photos with their Website name. They've verbally agreed to remove the photos after sending them a cease and desist letter. If they do not remove the photos, my attorney will contact their ISP and simply enforce the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Most hosting providers don't want to involve themselves in this legal risk so I'm sure they'll be willing to cut them off.

BUYER BEWARE

online ezshopping ..ha. They will easily take your money. Watch out for companies that do not have their own video or product. They are just import hacks who troll web sites looking for images and video to steal and call their own. I would seriously question their customer service or the ability to even get one.

Well, here are more of our photos. We initially put some photos online of our hard work so that others could learn how to put one of RED's Hydro Foam flyers together. We spent like all day putting it together and taking some shots of it.

All photos in this gallery and online are PROPERTY of RChydroflyer.com and John Shum

Hydro-Foam Ad-Hoc 101

http://www.hobbytron.com/HydroFoam.html

These people are actually getting the Depron, laser cutting it, and slapping it together. I use the word "slapping" due to the ad-hoc assemblage.

Will this thing fly..yeah. But remember, a lot of times you have to buy a smaller prop, really depends on your experience level. The larger props turn this Hydro Foam Flyer into a small lawnmower!

Hydro Foam from Mega Tech

Here is the first attempt I found to simplify the
control:

http://www.megatech.com/product_detail_aircraft.php?ID=9505

1) 3 channels, throttle, elevator, and rudder, no
ailerons - means it turns but no rolling, easier to
control

2) Added winds for stability - look more like a plane
now but clearly it will make it easier to control

We will have to look into this one...

HydroFlyer Buyer Beware

HydroFlyer for Sale- Buyer Beware

Buyer beware, there are only a handful of videos and photos of real working hydroflyers or hydrofoams. Many online shops like JPRTrading, Trendtimes and other online stores have stolen many videos and photos from honest hobbyists and tout that they have these units in stock ready to ship. They've infringed on copyrights, and obviously do not carry the product, or they would have their own pictures. Connelly's video hit it big and has been syndicated across the world...while some companies simply slap their name across it and use it to sell units.
