Durable Hydrofoam/boat plane kit from Depron by Hangar1.

  • Assembled Depron kit- ready for paint

  • Brushless motor, ESC, GWS receiver, crystals

  • Lithium Polymer battery

  • 4 channel Futaba radio

  • Original packaging and receipts for all electronics

  • Tested and flown lightly

  • Charger not included

These are pictures from a precut kit with 3rd party electronics. Click on thumbnails below to get a better view.

Buyer beware, there are only a handful of videos and photos of real working hydroflyers or hydrofoams. Many online shops like JPRTrading, Trendtimes and other online stores have stolen many videos and photos from honest hobbyists and tout that they have these units in stock ready to ship. They've infringed on copyrights, and obviously do not carry the product, or they would have their own pictures. Connelly's video hit it big and has been syndicated across the world...while some companies simply slap their name across it and use it to sell units.

Major Thread for RC models / toys

"Hey all After much hard work I will be releasing the kits July 1st. I would like to thank Michael and Ernest for their awesome concept."

"I've always been into RC cars and RC toys but this sucker takes the cake. This is not you average RC toy. It is a RC car, speed boat and flyer all pumped together. I have been on the waiting list for sometime now. Can't wait until it arrives!"

"The problem was when Michael first showed everyone, he said he was not going to do plans or a kit, gave us the dimensions, and the "thumbs up" to post from his measurements. " I could not have made this plan without the dimensions and detailed pictures provided. You can build this one now, and fly tomorrow. Practice your moves, and crash it. Buy the real thing when it's available, and enjoy it longer, because you've had practice."

"If you're gonna use my plan to produce kits, and make money, you might want to try to ask me first. Location: Netherlands, Gouda; Prop-er Launchpad McQuack (his handle) -generally this guy has been a jerkoff on threads. No worries to us."

"I agree that Mike and Ernest should receive great credit for the build, and by all means that they are the beginers. Although Henry was also the beginner of the automobile, and I have not seen any place in the country that drive only Fords. Please, don't take this the wrong way, I am not trying to offend anyone, this is just my thought on the idea. Mike and Ernest, although you don't know me, I am still at "awe" by your idea, and have the upmost respect for you guys. We have a laser cutter and have designed "our" version of the craft as well. There are some minor differences but the looks are similiar. We are selling the Deperon kit for $55.00 and the Fanfold kit for $45.00 (shipping is $7.50 for either). We also have qty discounts as well. You can read many technical specifications here: RCGroups - Hydro Foam Fly's"

So the "additional" pictures shown on the Megatech site look nothing like the photographs in the first pictures. Sketchy, but typical.

RC Hydrofoam and RC Hydroflyer

RC Foam HydroFlyer Definition

RC Hydro Foam Flyer ( See the Hydrofoam Video) - Acts as a Radio Controlled Car, Boat and Plane. RC (Radio Control) hydro flyers are a mix between an RC Car, RC boat and an RC plane. The Hydro Flyer acts as a plane in the air and then goes on the water hovers on the land. It is a pretty sweet RC toy. Made from hydro-foam and RC parts. I have never seen such a sweet RC type thing.
