Hydro-Foam Ad-Hoc 101
These people are actually getting the Depron, laser cutting it, and slapping it together. I use the word "slapping" due to the ad-hoc assemblage.

Will this thing fly..yeah. But remember, a lot of times you have to buy a smaller prop, really depends on your experience level. The larger props turn this Hydro Foam Flyer into a small lawnmower!

Hydro Foam from Mega Tech
control:
http://www.megatech.com/product_detail_aircraft.php?ID=9505
1) 3 channels, throttle, elevator, and rudder, no
ailerons - means it turns but no rolling, easier to
control
2) Added winds for stability - look more like a plane
now but clearly it will make it easier to control
We will have to look into this one...
HydroFlyer Buyer Beware
HydroFlyer for Sale- Buyer Beware
Buyer beware, there are only a handful of videos and photos of real working hydroflyers or hydrofoams. Many online shops like JPRTrading, Trendtimes and other online stores have stolen many videos and photos from honest hobbyists and tout that they have these units in stock ready to ship. They've infringed on copyrights, and obviously do not carry the product, or they would have their own pictures. Connelly's video hit it big and has been syndicated across the world...while some companies simply slap their name across it and use it to sell units.
Where to Buy Hydro-Foam RC Hydro Flyers
I bought my kit from Red at Hangar1. They do take a long time... expect 2 months... but it did arrive and is a great kit. You can order the electronics below, should be good to go.
